VA Engage Journal: Call for Submissions

The VA Engage Journal for Student Scholarship is a publication where Virginia college students and recent graduates reflect critically on their community/civic engagement experiences. The journal is now seeking submissions for Volume 11. Submissions could range from a well-received class project to a compelling paper.

Students can also visit this site to learn more about the variety of submission categories, explore previous articles, and view next steps in the submission process. Students can submit HERE

VAEJ authors report that their publication experience increased their confidence as an emerging scholar. One recent author said: “I really feel that I grew as a writer, researcher, and critical thinker throughout the process. I was so excited to see the publication of my paper, along with those of the other student authors.”

Do not hesitate to reach out to the editor of the journal, Steve Grande (grandese@jmu.edu), if you have questions.
